1. We see colours when we close our eyes because of phosphenes. These are the result of the neurological activity. Biologically produced light particles in our eyes cause such colours and patterns.                                                                                                                            
2. Chameleons can change their colours due to the presence of chromatophores beneath their transparent skin. They maintain their body temperature by changing colours.
